BOOST: A Main Street Toccoa Program

BOOST is a new Main Street Toccoa initative that provides support funding to those small or emerging downtown businesses that need a "boost" in various categories. A couple quick facts:

  1. BOOST is open to Downtown business and property owners only. 
  2. Funding may be requested in the amount of $100 - $1,000. The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) reserves the right to fund in an amount other than that requested.
  3. The BOOST cycle runs twice a fiscal year. You may apply during both cycles, but may only receive funding in one cycle. Each cycle closes when the set cycle funds have been disbursed.

  1. Download the BOOST Application Guidelines and Checklist.
  2. Download and complete the BOOST Grant Application
  3. If there are any questions about what we will or will not fund or regarding the program, download the Funding Eligibility Information document and the Questions & Answers document.
  4. Submit your application to Christian Hamilton at the Main Street Office.
  5. The application will pass before the Economic Restructuring Committee at their next regular monthly meeting.
  6. The application will then be decided upon by the DDA at their next regular monthly meeting.
  7. Funds will be disbursed upon completion of the project and proof of receipt.
