2026 Battle of the Bands – Artist Application

Complete this form to apply for the Battle of the Bands event.

Submission fee: $20

Submission deadline: July 24th.

⚠️ Application submission does not guarantee selection. All applications will be reviewed, and selected artists will be contacted. Schedule and time slots will be provided prior to the event date.

Friday, August 7th: Acoustic Night

Fundraiser for the Stephens County High School Band

 

Artists will perform at participating downtown venues to kick off the weekend.

​

  • Set Time: 20-minute total slots (5-minute setup, 15-minute performance).

  • Judging: The top artist from each venue will advance to Saturday night, where they will compete head-to-head on the main outdoor stage for the Ultimate Acoustic Artist title.

  • The Prize: The Ultimate Acoustic Artist wins $500 cash and a 30-minute opening slot at the Winner's Showcase at the Historic Ritz Theatre on Saturday, November 7, 2026.

  • Note on Tips: All acoustic tips collected across venues will be pooled. The winner receives their prize, and all remaining balance will be proudly donated to the Stephens County High School Band program.

Saturday, August 8th: Band Night

 

Bands will face off head-to-head on outdoor, dueling stages!

​

  • Set Time: 20-minute total slots (5-minute setup, 15-minute performance).

  • Judging: Crowd applause measured live by a decibel meter—bring your fans!

  • The Prizes:

    •  1st Place: Ultimate Band Winner - 

      • $500 cash

      • 10 hours of studio time at Diamond Studios in Toccoa, GA

      • 60–90 minute headlining slot at the Winner's Showcase at the Historic Ritz Theatre on Saturday, November 7, 2026 + 40% of ticket sales

    •  2nd Place: Ultimate Band Runner-Up -

      • $250 cash

      • 45-minute opening slot at the Winner's Showcase at the Historic Ritz Theatre on Saturday, November 7, 2026 + 20% of ticket sales

Artist Perks & Logistics

 

  • Merchandise: All accepted artists will receive a designated setup location for merchandise sales.

  • Keep Your Profits: Artists receive 100% of their merch proceeds!

  • Setup: Artists must provide all of their own setup equipment (tables, tents, displays, etc.).​
