Main Street Awards
Celebrating Success!
Every year, Main Street Toccoa recognizes the dedication of our local business and property owners. This annual event celebrates the transformative projects, historic renovations, and distinct achievements that defined downtown over the previous year. The evening takes place at the Historic Ritz Theatre, beginning with a networking reception and concluding with our annual awards ceremony.

Ida Cox Music Series
Summer Music Downtown
Summer weekends in Toccoa mean live music, delicious food, and great company! Named in honor of Toccoa native and legendary "Uncrowned Queen of the Blues," Ida Cox, this beloved summer concert series brings the heart of downtown alive on Saturday nights throughout the season. Music lovers can grab a lawn chair, enjoy a vibrant mix of free outdoor performances, visit our unique shops, and dine at local restaurants. Juneteenth
Celebrate in Downtown Toccoa
Join the Toccoa Improvement Association and Main Street Toccoa in downtown Toccoa every June as we celebrate Juneteenth! This annual event is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together for a day dedicated to culture, history, and connection.
Commemorating the national federal holiday, this celebration honors the legacy of freedom and progress. Bring the whole family downtown to share in the unity and vibrant community spirit!


Currahee Military Weekend
Experience History
Held every year during the first weekend in October, Currahee Military Weekend is a dedicated tribute to the enduring legacy of the "Toccoa Men." These World War II soldiers underwent rigorous paratrooper training at Camp Toccoa, ultimately etching their names into global military history. The weekend-long event draws visitors from all over the world to experience living history, veterans' tributes, and community festivities. It is a powerful tradition that keeps our local heritage alive and honors the sacrifices of the Greatest Generation.


Downtown Costume Parade
Children's Trick or Treat Parade Downtown
Every year, Main Street Toccoa hosts a Costume Parade on or near October 31st to give children a chance to "trick-or-treat" in Downtown Toccoa. Businesses and organizations from across the community will line the streets of Downtown Toccoa and pass out candy. This event gives the very little ones in our community (as well as any parents that would like to bring their children) a chance to enjoy the holiday.


Harvest Festival
Experience the Best of Autumn
Held Annually the Last Weekend of October.

Celebrate community and craftsmanship at the annual Toccoa Harvest Festival! Featuring over 160 vendors with homemade and homegrown treasures, this weekend-long event offers a fresh experience every year. Enjoy two stages of live entertainment, a Classic & Antique Car Cruise-In, local art displays, and endless activities for the kids. Come hungry to enjoy a wide variety of regional and international food vendors, and take some time to explore our open downtown shops and restaurants. We can't wait to see you there!


Christmas Fest
Celebrate the Holiday Season
Held Annually the First Friday of December from 5 PM – 9 PM
ChristmasFest brings the magic of the holidays alive with a community tree lighting at 6:00 PM, live entertainment, and a variety of festive food and craft vendors. Families can enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides, a Live Nativity, and Santa’s Express train, alongside a special visit from Santa Claus himself. Be sure to stop by the Historic Courthouse for the Festival of Trees, where you can vote for your favorite display to help raise money for local charities. It's the perfect way to ignite your holiday spirit!
