City Loop Trail

City Loop Trail

Discover the City Loop Trail

A healthier Toccoa starts on the trail! The City Loop Trail was born from a powerful community collaboration between the Stephens County High School Interact Club, the Toccoa Rotary Club, Main Street Toccoa, and the 2014 Toccoa-Stephens County Leadership class. Designed to promote wellness and outdoor activity, the trail offers a safe, accessible space for everyone in our community to get moving.

Choose Your Distance

The City Loop is uniquely designed as two interlocking loops, allowing you to customize your walk or run:

  • The Rotary Park Loop: Starts at Rotary Park (in the Foothills Shopping Center) and runs just over 2 miles.

  • The Historic Depot Loop: Begins at the Historic Train Depot (160 North Alexander Street) and spans 1 mile.

  • The Full 5K: Combine both loops for a perfect 3.10-mile route. This is the ideal safe training ground for local races, including our annual Stuff the Bus 5K, which raises essential food donations for Toccoa's distribution centers.

Meet Our Community Partners

The Rotary Club of Toccoa

As part of Rotary International—a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, and leaders dedicated to lasting change—our local club is deeply invested in Toccoa-Stephens County. Beyond building trails, we proudly host the "Top 5" program to celebrate academic excellence, awarding scholarships to the top 5% of graduating seniors and honoring top students in grades 6-11. From community service to fundraising for local causes, we work side-by-side to make Toccoa thrive.

SCHS Interact Club

Powered by passionate young people who want to make a difference, the Stephens County High School Interact Club tackles two major service projects each year: one benefiting our local school or community, and one promoting international understanding.
